Our Programs

At WEARESOCIETY, our programs are designed to address the critical need for affordable housing and provide comprehensive support to underserved populations. Each program is tailored to create sustainable, impactful solutions in collaboration with community partners.

Resident Services

WEARESOCIETY is committed to reducing financial barriers for individuals transitioning into stable housing through:

  • Security Deposit and Rent Assistance:  Providing financial aid for initial housing costs, funded through initiatives like (PBV) Project Based Vouchers and HOME-ARP, to help families secure stable housing with reduced financial strain.

  • Utility Assistance: Providing financial support for essential utilities like water, electricity, and gas.

  • Short-Term and Medium-Term Rental Assistance: Helping individuals avoid eviction or stabilize after a period of housing insecurity.

 Affordable Housing Development

We focus on creating safe, high-quality housing options for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or facing housing instability. Our housing development initiatives include:

  • Multi-family housing projects like Maplewood Village and WEHost Alliance.

  • A commitment to providing units exclusively for vulnerable populations, such as individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.

  • Leveraging Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), grants, and community partnerships to fund developments.

Financial Assistance Programs

Our resident services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each project’s population and are delivered in collaboration with organizations such as the Homeless Alliance and THA. These services include:

  • Case management and life skills training.

  • Employment and educational support.

  • Access to health and mental health services.

Community Collaboration

We partner with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact, including:

  • Homeless Alliance, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, Tulsa Housing Authority, and Coalign Group.

  • Coordination with Continuum of Care programs to ensure streamlined access to housing and services.
